I use Manjaro, and there were a bunch of updates, yesterday. Which I installed without a problem. This morning I opened Boostnote to find it doesn't launch, only starts showing its GUI, and then exits. So I launched it frrom the terminal, and got the usual warning, but right before it closed, the following popped up:
[83339:1007/095355.167509:FATAL:gpu_data_manager_impl_private.cc(415)] GPU process isn't usable. Goodbye.
Expected behavior
Boostnote should open as normal.
Steps to reproduce
Use the .AppImage for version 0.23.0 to open it.
Current workaround
After a bit of Googling it would seem this issue is related to something to do with the NVIDIA driver, Stumbling on this page there is a workaround, albeit not for Boostnote. It seemed easy enough, so I decided to try it. At least, as best I understood how. I excuted the .AppIUmage in the terminal with the --disable-gpu-sandbox argument. Lo-and-behold, it seemed to work:

And up to now, it seems to be working as expected. So I don't know what's the cause, but there is the workaround.
