refactor: remove demos and examples from the core app #232

Closes #229

Description:

Removed all the demos / examples.
Added some basic instructions to the home page, plus some code comments.
Removed unnecessary components and styles from the Footer and Header.

Steps:

Check if the results satisfy the requirements.
