There's still another problem causing a similar issue though: after some research, it seems the only thing that's still affecting content loading is the TokenInput component (or its demo). To put this theory to test, just comment out the demo and the page should load normally without delay.
We should investigate what could be causing this, and (obviously) fix it.
Note: The problem is probably in some of TokenSelect's features, which is used in TokenDropdown too. Check both component's demos with all of their features on to see if this is true.
