scroll menu selection #16

figure out a way to select things with the scroll menu

Does this mean to arbitrarily jump from say item 0 to item 7? Or do you mean an action should occur when I hit enter with an item selected?

We should also add documentation text on the screen to help users navigate. I had to guess that tab would let me cycle through items.
