Symfony 3 has a native replacement. Surely, some reconfiguration will be required. http://symfony.com/blog/new-in-symfony-2-8-ldap-component

I used this bundle for read the ldap and oauth user. I have replaced this bundle by symfony/ldap component. The part of code what do you write for read a ldap is reduce by the new component.
