Wiki section on Github for Profile developers? #41

Somewhere on here for the XML Schema and what can be accomplished by creating profiles. Or is this all strictly only on the forums?

Before, everything related to profiles was being kept on the forums. While it makes sense to keep the documentation on the GitHub wiki, we'd need to find someone willing to maintain the documentation on it (even though it hasn't changed all that much over time).

The forums are also more accessible for people that are new to the bot, very few people are actually aware of our GitHub project pages. It makes sense, but I'm not sure it's viable.

It's just the first place I naturally looked. Also, if anyone would be developing profiles, I'd assume they would probably have some technical background and maybe even be a developer themselves.

I'm hoping to see what I can and can't use to make profiles. I'm not much of a forum user.

Where can I find exactly what I can use and what elements/attributes are valid?

No problem. I found it :)

Maybe we can add the below links somewhere more prominent in github?

http://docs.buddywing.com/ and http://docs.buddywing.com/html/N_Buddy_CommonBot_Profile_Quest.htm

Also looks like it needs some more documentation. Not all the tags are clear, I wonder if all of them are still supported?

The first post was on the BW forum, but somehow it got archieved. It was a post from Kick. Else I can create a new one with examples, clean up the post from kick and repost.

I think it would be nice to have it here. Maybe we can get up a profiles repository?
