I have just actualized sketch up for mac to the last version and i have identified a problem with the UI interface. I can't modify the settings because the background of the space to write appear black so I can´t see the characters I write.

edit the controlpanel.html file in the SketchyUI directory and comment out (or 
remove) the lines at the top that link to the .css files. See if this helps.
