Thank you for showing your interest, here is our quick feedback.

Your assessment was good, nice UI, you handled some edge cases well and showed adequate knowledge of React. However, you could have shown more capacity in doing some of the intangibles that could have helped you stand out like the use of state management to show the history of shapes added, persisting shapes on reload, etc

We appreciate the amount of effort this took and this is not an indictment of your capacity as a developer. We employ you to keep pushing and we wish you all the best.
