Image-utils distribution issue #1

RonR has a problem with outdated versions of image-utils being shipped with Pi-Power-Tools.

Quoting RonR himself:

You should let users know that you are distributing outdated and modified versions of my Image File Utilities in opposition to my request and against my wishes.

Solved, with commit #d9885e0, Pi Power Tools downloads image-utils directly from RonR's attached zip file using the new get-latest-image-utils script. All modifications have been removed, so image-utils remains completely stock as per RonR's request.

I have tried contacting RonR four times now: see here, here, here, and here. Still I have seen no response. Finally I decided to completely remove image-utils from Pi Power Tools. To replace image-shrink, shrinkimage has been developed. It uses a completely different mechanism to shrink images, and does not include any reused/plagiarized/borrowed code from image-shrink.
