No sync between board and main menu #157

Describe the bug Moving from a board to main menu does not trigger a sync.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Make a change on a board (ie- delete a cheese wheel (you monster))
  2. Exit to main menu
  3. Load back into that board
  4. See that the change did not save. The cheese is still there and is eternal. (fear it or embrace it).
