Thank you a lot for the video showing it, because that's the first well documented use of Parallels on Mac I've seen since release. Unfortunately this also shows very well it doesn't work at all.
Some of the issues are you not being familiar with the interface which is definitely a problem since there isn't any in game tutorial as of yet (Though there is a fairly comprehensive tutorial made on YouTube). However most could be discovered easily if the inputs would work properly. That being said, using TaleSpire in Parallels on Mac is completely broken, it seems clicks aren't registering, rendering of tiles is completely broken (The flickering of tiles after placing that you encountered), the list goes on. As this is a beta, even the Windows version does have its whole host of bugs, but it's well in the realm of usability and even in the first few days of beta there have been a bunch of people who ran games (more or less) successfully, even if some of it is bothersome. Clearly in Parallels it is far beyond usabilty though unfortunately.
All that being said though, the devs have said that they are willing to support Linux and Mac in the future natively (one of them is a passionate Linux user), but as they are a pretty small team they can't commit that many man hours into getting this up and running already. They are first focusing on getting a working product out on one platform and then work on getting it out to everyone on all platforms, which I hope is understandable.
PS: To prevent any confusion about that: I am not part of the dev team, I am just a community helper supporting the devs in managing the issue tracker and respond to reports here and on the discord.
For anyone who comes in here for Parallels and is wondering if VMWare Fusion can do it instead, it cannot. You can interact with the game, drag tiles out, but when you place them they don't show up (if you load it from within native Windows, you get to see the mayhem you created). Eventually the game crashes.
Describe the bug I can run the software and create a new game or join a game. I cannot interact with any building or creature. I have limited dice interaction. Menus work but anything I place on the map I cannot click, highlight or interact with in anyway, except for by accident.
To Reproduce Create a campaign or join one. I'm using the current version of Parallels to run the software on my 2012 iMac 27 inch. 3.4 Quad core i7 with 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM and NVidia GeForce GTX 680MX 2GB video card. My settings for Parallels is to using 3 cores and 8192 MB of memory. Parallels virtualizes the display adapter.
Screenshots/Videos/Twitch Clips I want to show you exactly what I'm doing so you can see what the problem is. https://youtu.be/VSMuEIQWFk0
