Error Deserializing the Board. Please Call Gondor for Aid. #988

Describe the bug I tried to load a board that I was working on, but I received the error seen in the screenshots: D8202DC6-6944-4412-9235-DC0025D61F83

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Launch Talespire
  2. Load into a campaign
  3. Switch to a board that you've previously made

Additional context I believe the board sync may have been interrupted, which may have caused this issue. I think this because I was working on this board when my PC froze, so I had to hard-restart it.

Is there any way to recover the board?

The devs keep 3 (?) backups of every campaign, so it should be recoverable, easiest way to get that done currently is by getting in touch with @cbaggers (can do so on the discord if you're on there). The devs also plan to make some UI to expose those backups to users so they can recover from these kind of issues themselves

Thank you for the info. I tried looking up cbaggers in the discord, but did not see his name when trying to @ him. Does he have a different name on there or should I contact via email or some other method?

It's just "baggers" on discord, sorry should have mentioned.
