Cool tool! And awesome for being about the only one that is open source.

Basic features requested:

That would be enough to replace much of the other tools I’m using. Thanks!

Please add the following to your lovely software:

  1. A back button, like Ctrl-Z.
  2. A forward button, like Shft-Ctrl-Z or Ctrl-Y.
  3. Make PNG the default saving option, and NOT BMP.
  4. Allow saving TIFF
  5. Make user settings persistent. So, if I select 4096 x4096 as my save dimensions, the next time I open the software, that will still be the case.
  6. Make the diffuse box the first box in the row.
  7. Every dialog box should have a "restore defaults" button, and individual fields should have maybe a gear icon, where defaults can be restored.
  8. If I mouse over an item, an info box should open telling what it does like, "Adjusts midtone contrast. Greater values result in more detail, lesser values result in less detail" that sort of thing.

Add a "Smoothness / Roughness" switch. I am using Materialize since I discovered it for MS Flight Simulator 2020 assets creation, which uses a COMP image made of Metallic, AO and ROUGHNESS. It's "only" a quick invert on the preview (black to white will be smooth to rough) but it will simplify life with a correctly working preview ;)

Add batch image processing would be very great!!

Thanks for this awsome project

Would be really cool if it also saved a material preview with the maps. If Sphere, cube cylinder etc. are chosen, it could also save that object as full material preview ... test

Otherwise: GREAT Software! Keep up the excellent work! THANK YOU!!!
