If we do add support for a command line client interface, it would be nifty if we could send the user notifications via the OS X notification system. I believe there are npm packages that could power this functionality.

Of course it's probably best to leave this out for the MVP. Just noting here as a placeholder for later.

There's also HTML 5 Notifications, which could enable this functionality for the web browser client.
