I really really really hate Scribd - see here and here and here and here and here for backstory. It's just so remarkably, intentionally bad for a service that's barely more than iframes on top of S3.
So... implement our own iframes on top of S3.
[ ] Move existing scribd documents to S3
[ ] Implement PDF iframe widget
[ ] Update old Scribdb embed codes with new widget code
[ ] Implement thumbnail generation
[ ] Develop a print archive page
[ ] Implement PDF upload in the CMS with drag-n-drop
Tagged systems/architecture because thumbnailing the PDFs may prove difficult. Don't really know what'll be involved in that.
