"Are you sure" before stop recording trail #104

The following has happened more often that I care to admit. I have been recording a trail by pausing the recording between various spots because I did not want to record every tiny jiggle in my recorded path. So I will end up with 50+ (or more) straight line segments instead of a snaky trail that shows every bump in the road, So click "Start Recording", "Pause", then 10 to 15 minutes of: Move to new spot, Click Resume Recording. Click Pause. Move to new spot, Click Resume Recording. Click Pause. Move to another spot...repeat for 10+ minutes.... then think very bad thoughts at myself because I accidentally clicked on Stop recording and the entire trail vanished.

If a trail has been started and the stop button is pressed, before the Stop button changes color and program deletes the trail I would like a "Confirm Trail Deletion" button to pop up near to, but not touching the Stop/Start button. If this button is clicked then the trail would be deleted. If the button was not pressed then the system would return to whatever state it was in before the stop button was pressed.

This scenario is not covered by the Undo/Redo buttons. If they could be modified to cover this circumstance that would work as as well.

The ability to save and load trails makes this suggestion less necessary, but it would still be useful.
