Keybinding is useful, but at times it would be convenient to have access to marker and trail placement and limited editing functions via mouse. The marker menu is quite large and the full extent of its functionality is not always required. I would like to have a toolbar, as shown below, that would provide the ability to place and do basic editing of a the currently placed marker or trail.
It would be more complex, but more flexible to have the toolbar in three pieces so that only desired portion could be made visible as needed.
The first two buttons, would only become active when a marker was placed, If these buttons could be modified to work on the selected or the just deselected marker/trail that would be an added benefit.
Change selected marker/trail category
Delete selected marker/trail category.
The 5 numbered buttons are used to place the 5 defined markers. Once placed they would be selected by the UberTool and could be moved by it, or modified by the previous 2 buttons.
The last group of buttons are for trail placement and editing, with the added feature as discussed in issue #104
These buttons would not be able to select an already present marker, only modify each one as it is placed.
