Still need a reason why the frog is climbing the tower.

Reasons:

  1. Inheritance
  2. Real estate - bought new house
  3. Exterminator doing his job
  4. Ghost buster
  5. Wandered into someone's house/trespassing

Let's keep it simple and go with inheriting the castle. That way the player can clean it up if they desire, or just kinda explore it. It would realistic that the player would be curious to see what's at the top of their derelict, infested tower, which would bring them to the boss.
