Canon T3I will not record video #227

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I am connected to camera via android tablet and and TP-Link
2. I push record video button on tablet the camera switches but displays (Press 
record button to start video recording)
3. I have to turn camera off to get display message to go away

What is the expected output? 
I want to record video

What do you see instead?
Camera display message telling me to press record button to start recording 

What version of the product are you using? 
The latest 3
On what operating system?
Android 

Please provide any additional information below.
Some times it's hard to get the camera to connect bash board sees it but I 
click it in the drop down menu but nothing I have to got brought this process 
of shutting the camera down and stuff to get it to connect.  Also while the 
camera is frozen in the video mode I can still take picture change ISO etc

What version of the product are you using? 
Canon T3I / TP-LINK v2 / 7" Samsung tablet

On what operating system?
Android

Will check this.
In DslrDashboard please press the 'i' button in top row. Then press the 'Save 
info' button. This will create a 'device_info.txt' file on your Android device 
DCIM folder.
Please send me this file.

I have tested the same config. But have test further.

Device:
Macbook Pro, OS 10.9

App ver:
v.1.6

The camera works fine when it is plugged directly into an USB port on the 
laptop. If it is plugged into the TL-3040 it does as described above on both 
WiFi and wired.
