BrainCog-X / Brain-Cog

Brain-inspired Cognitive Intelligence Engine (BrainCog) is a brain-inspired spiking neural network based platform for Brain-inspired Artificial Intelligence and simulating brains at multiple scales. The long term goal of BrainCog is to provide a comprehensive theory and system to decode the mechanisms and principles of human intelligence and its evolution, and develop artificial brains for brain-inspired conscious living AI in future Human-AI symbiotic Society.

Hello,

Is it possible to get the BORN code to run with BrainCog?

Thanks

Hello, Is there anyone working on this?

Hello, the BORN project is still under preparation, and we will push forward the release as soon as possible

Hello @XDUSPONGE, I hope that your day is going well.

I have not seen much updates happening in the BrainCog repository and was wondering how the BORN code was coming along and if it will be released very soon since I would like to build and develop from that point forward.

What I am also greatly interested in is BORN and BrainCog ability for simple Q&A as well online and incremental learning since this is a challenge for Spiking neural networks to be able to add and integrate new knowledge into what has already been trained without retraining. On that note, I some work in the past by Osamu Hasegawa (http://www.haselab.info/soinn-e.html) using SOINN (Self-Organizing Incremental Neural Networks) has shown promise as it uses unsupervised clustering for 1-shot and few-shot training.

I would be wondering if this could be applied to BrainCog in some way as an initial thought.

Effectively I am interested in AGI and possibly using BrainCog (BORN) for that purpose.

Looking forward to hearing back from you as well as to get an update on BORN which I am very eager to work with as soon as I can.

Thanks and have a great day
