Foveated rendering is being discussed with Sander (and others) and has been sent to IZI patents
SR Audio proposal is sent but not yet responded to by Pieter
Rendering 3D only for content visible to user is not yet followed up
Injecting SR into non-supported apps is rejected
Three more patents have been discussed that should be filed. They were split off for the foveated rendering patent:
-Calculate focal point position from eye/gaze tracking & knowledge of the SR screen.
-DOF patent for increased depth perception.
-Interaction patent based on focal point position. > Needs more specific interaction to be inventive
-Reducing/Increasing the quality of transparent objects in the context of foveated rendering based on focal point position.

Patent to figure out the amount of buffers that exist in a given 3D application. > Ask Joey.
Latency is something we need to figure out more about with Pieter.
We also want to file a patent for compensating for the curve of the monitor in a curved 3D SR display.
