An app opens instead of searching #220

Telegram is just for example. If I press "enter" on my keyboard it opens telegram. But I want to see Google results for telegram.

Can you add the option to open apps only if i click on them (on icon) and open search results if press enter?

Or any option/solution to choose what i want to do.

In other apps/browsers using a spacebar and press enter opens the search results. Here the space changes nothing - still opens telegram.

One more example: i type a website but it opens an email client.

this is happening with me as well with the new android 11 update. i use nova launcher, my settings are to default search duckduckgo, and when i go to search something it now takes me to maps by default. 😭 please fix this!
