Camera feed screenshots do not update when outside home network #30

Running Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ Raspbian Stretch

After 3 fresh installs and attempts, I was able to get the live feed working with my Nest Cam IQs. While on the home network, HomeKit refreshes the screenshot thumbnail in the app every 10 seconds. Live video take about 10 seconds to load up, and is 10 seconds behind.

Prior to me getting the live feed to work, when I was outside of my home network, the thumbnail screenshots refreshed every 60 seconds. Now that the live feeds work, the screenshots no longer update at all when outside the network. Live video still works outside the network.

Not sure if this issue is tied with the live feeds, but I just noticed this after the live feeds began to work.

Also running homebridge-nest plugin to try and get the cameras working as motion sensors.

Logs do not show any conflicts or errors.

Any thoughts on this?

Tried removing the homebridge-nest plugin to see if there was some underlying conflict with 2 plugins trying to login to my Nest account. Still the same issue.

An update to my homebridge config UI fixed this issue. I am unsure if this is directly related, or just a coincidence.
