Total elevation is wrong. #266

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. On any track that climbs, look at stats page (see attached pic). "Total
elevation" seems to be wrong. It doesn't correspond to the "Altitude over ???"
graphs. Might be in meters rather than feet but still not exactly right either.
In case the graph is difficult to read, the y-axis ranges from 5644 feet to
6872 feet. That's a difference of 1228 feet. Not 354 feet as shown for the
"Total elevation". 354 m = 1,161 ft.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
"Total Elevation" to make some sort of sense.

Which Android device are you using?
HTC Incredible

What version of Android are you running?
2.2

What version of the Open GPS Tracker are you running?
1.2.2

Please provide any additional information below.

I have the same problem - been using Google MyTracks, but switching because it
now requires Play Services, and I don't have sufficient internal memory. I use
it for tracking bike rides, those that have had an elevation of approx. 100 ft.
are now showing about 200-300 ft.
