Request for offline map data cache #353

What do you consider a good addition to the application.

1. Describe the function
I would like to see the option of downloading offline map data for those of us 
using android devices without data plans.
2. Give an example on how this could fit with the current usage
This could be a sub menu in the progran, or something equivalent to the offline 
maps in google maps.
