[bug] [minor corner case] inconsistent behavior of cross-editor cursor animations #29

[current]: depending on the speed of clicks, cursor moves results in either of the following animation behaviors:

"single trace" animation (trace drawn from (n-1)th click coord to nth click coord)u
"double trace" animation (not only (n-1)th -> nth, but also (n-2)th -> (n-1)th gets drawn prior to the former)
no animation

[expected]: only the first case occurs
