Is this project dead? #120

What the status of Carousel? There haven't been any commits in 6 months. There seems to have been some work to futurize Carousel for Python-3 but a pull request was never sent and the commits were never merged. Is this project dead?

I think Carousel is still relevant. I still see the need for generic modular model development, and other than web based frameworks, and either algebraic-language, optimization, and machine-learning frameworks, I haven't seen anything similar to Carousel.

If SunPower is abandoning Carousel, I'm thinking of forking it and re-branding with a new name. Otherwise I'm happy to keep contributing to Carousel as well. Thanks!
