Added the it-IT strings, and fixed a small error in one of the en-US strings

can figure out what's preventing you to target Android 4.1 and work around that

The issue with 4.1 is lack of "TextClock"

Will try to backport it then. I mean, I got the GlowPadView working on Donut. 
I'll figure something out... doesn't seem anything impossible to do.

Also "pref_strings.xml" would need translation :)

I am just working on that. Almost there with the backport to at least Android 
4.1, I'll need to test on ICS but should work there as well (I'm only worried 
about light/condensed textstyles not working, we will see.). Will submit a pull 
request for the languages update in a short while. Also, switched GMail unread 
count template to a plurals structure due to localization needs, hope you don't 
mind.
