4 months ago Shifting away from submarines, I was also thinking of more radars, namely a deployable AWACS radar, a fixed AWACS radar, and a dipping sonar. The deployable AWACS radar would enable users to construct AWACS helicopters given the smaller size once retracted. The fixed AWACS radar, on the other hand, would offer users a more streamlined alternative to the larger disk, with a pair of variant options between legs or a dorsal fin to hold the radar up. The dipping sonar would increase effectiveness of maritime aircraft considering the performance of current sonars when above the water.
I was wondering if it would be possible to add a conning tower along with Mk3 inline VLS tubes and Mk3 nosecone torpedo tubes for streamlining the construction of submarines. Preferably, the VLS tubes should be contained within a part that has a raised hump to facilitate at least eight missiles, while the nosecone should have spots for at least four torpedoes with a built-in sonar. The conning tower should contain at least two crew, along with a built-in WM and the appropriate AI. Optionally, you could incorporate a ballast system for these parts. To compliment the VLS, perhaps SLCM and SLBM missiles could be added. Furthermore, a deployable targeting pod may be useful for identifying targets while submerged.
