Currently the daily calibration cassette weighs 9.5 kg wwhich is considerably heavier than a sample cassette, even if the latter is loaded with a very large sample. Since the robot is relatively compliant, the heavier daily calibration cassette sits in a different position than sample cassettes and this will influence the results particularly for the NIR sensor.
Make the daily calibration cassette lighter. 4 kg would be nice (sample cassettes weigh 2.5 kg, samples weigh up to 2 kg, typically <1kg).
