COVID-19 affects lung function, with progressive deterioration of dyspnoea (shortness of breath) which will be reflect in SpO2 values. By the time someone is intubated, they are already experiencing Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and seriously unwell.
Need models that allow for remote SpO2 monitoring, trigger thresholds for stepped care from home>MASH tent>ICU which could alert to remote condition monitoring values for inbound care planning.
