Experiencing the same issue here, also with Sea of Thieves
Same here with all my games

This is still a major bug. Using Steam Deck to launch a UWPHook game from an in-home Steam PC is still completely broken. You will hear the audio on the Steam Deck, but the controls do not work and you do not see the game window on the Steam Deck. No amount of refocusing or juggling windows on the Host machine fixes this. I tested with UWPHook's "Enable streaming mode" option BOTH enabled AND disabled. Neither worked and the problems are almost identical in either mode.
Tested with the following GamePass games:
Same result with each. UWPHook splash screen appears briefly, then you get a black screen with a loading icon in the bottom right, but only audio is actually coming through. No game image and no controls.
Tangential Information: I had a little success using GloSC instead of UWPHook, but that is also a dead project and had other bugs.
Almost two years later, any update?

The more popular method now is to use moonlight

streaming, directly targeting the desktop, which allows for the launch of any program including UWP after establishing a streaming connection.
To reproduce (tested with Sea of Thieves and Fallout Shelter): Without streaming mode:
With streaming mode:
Streaming host is running Windows 10 1903, Steam is opted into client beta on both host and client. Client runs Linux. I'm not trying to use a controller, just mouse and keyboard.
