spoke with person that studies termites in Senegal; has observed reduction in height/spire at top of mound after extremely heavy rain
spoke to grazing specialist in Senegal; has of observed that areas with termite mounds are a good place to go (have water?)
idea/thought: why go above ground at all? To help regulate mound physiology

proposed involvement in call
concept: I was thinking about the age of mounds, their interconnection with the environment, with multiple beings and also with the communities inhabiting the territory. I could bring in some thoughts on the cultural aspect of mounds for some communities in Senegal and maybe you could write about their age, duration of life, and their ecological value? What do you think?
