Supplementary Tables Updated with Age Adjusted GSEA Analysis #46

Closed davebridges closed 9 years ago

This is for the age-adjusted analyses. Can you prepare tables for gene expression (ST5), pathways (ST6) and TF/miRNA (ST7). It would be great to have these as only one table for each, so you may need a column to specify those that were present only for older/younger groups.

Actually, dont make new tables but we need to update tables 2-4 with the new analyses

When you do this, can you briefly summarize the number of hits in the previous analysis vs the current analysis. My feeling is that even though we had a reduced number of genes in the age-adjusted analysis, the GSEA analysis showed more pathway differences. Id like to put a number to that in the response letter.

So, the PCA looks the same, which makes sense, for both age and non age adjusted. PC1 accounts for the most variance between Acro and Control. We don't have a good explanation for why the GSEA result numbers are different for the two analysis. Like I said, more doesn't mean better. Do you still want to have these numbers and include this point in the response to the editor/reviewers?

Nope I wont bring it up.
