this is not buggy in the standard sense, but it does create noise in stderr and we all know that that will probably not mix up well with testing processes. Therefor, motivation is to fix it asap. N.B. missing the file altogether is not a problem, so that's why it was not noticed earlier.
this is fixed in #106, closing
as the $subject says, a bit of error handling would not hurt!
