@johnnydevaprasad : perfect, this is the last of the (production) 6.6.x series and we'd rather rely on it for 2017q1 and jump on 7.x during the cm7.3 transition (ie. asap), incl. for cloud business.
btw. Lmod/7.2.1 and onwards have their own trace silencing implementation: https://github.com/TACC/Lmod/blob/master/init/bash.in#L10
no-op yet, just fyi.: it implies we should eventually produce Lmod/7.3 RPMs, too, for x-checking.
