however root is crippled; fi. root login, sudo etc. Interestingly, sudo id works (no login shell).
We didn't discover it earlier, because we were forced to run the quarter w. local validated Lmod.
quick workaround is to comment out lines w. $LMOD_DISABLE, but then the feature is crippled!
