Unknown server tag 'SharePoint:IECompatibleMetaTag'. on Sharepoint 2013 #3

Hello,

I try to install the Brightcove Video Connect for SharePoint 2013 ( https://support.brightcove.com/getting-started-brightcove-video-connect-sharepoint?_ga=2.51648621.573919484.1540280097-64216994.1539878687&_gac=1.217310754.1539934269.EAIaIQobChMIrJDcja-Q3gIVGpzVCh3Fggu4EAAYASAAEgLOOfD_BwE )

But I have an error at the step "Provisioning the Default Lists for the Brightcove Video Connect App" :

My System Configuration :

Windows Server 2012 R2 SQL Server 2012 Standard Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 SP1 Configuration database version: 15.0.4569.1000

Hello,

I have an interesting element to bring about this ticket.

I found a workaround by removing the reference to on line 18 in BrightcoveApp.master file, and recompiling locally a new release.

Now the connector is working on my sharepoint 2013 installation.

I think the "IECompatibleMetaTag" is a 2016 sharepoint dependency and not work on 2013 (but I'm not a microsoft sharepoint expert :-).
