foo (i.e. [`foo`](#) in Markdown) gets rendered the same as foo / `foo` which makes links really hard to spot (until you hover):
It'd be good to render them more like a d2l-link, possibly with monospaced font (if possible - it might require a new "use monospace font" feature for d2l-link... if so open an issue in the repo to discuss first)
