Experimenting with allowing multiple titles in the markdown, with the first one being used as the title. Not intended for review at the point, I just want to see if this gets me through an impasse.

What's the use-case for multiple level 1 headings? Usually a document has a title and then you'd move on to level-2 subheadings (##).

(Multiple <h1> was invalid in XHTML iirc but is valid these days in HTML5 in the spirit of being more backwards-compatible/choosing our battles.)
