Find a larger venue

Our comfortable capacity at the Red Hat office is only 30-40 people, and the RSVPs for the July meetup hit that limit even before I'd added the details of exactly which talks we were going to have.

So I think it makes sense to start actively looking for a bigger space that's still convenient to the CBD and public transport, where the owners of the venue are willing to host the meetup for free.

Some possibilities that I think are worth investigating:

• the Innovation Lab at SLQ Edge: http://edgeqld.org.au/venue-hire/innovation-lab/
• the event space at Fishburners on the Queen St Mall: http://fishburners.org/event-space-brisbane/
• trying to connect with the faculty at QUT Gardens Point, and see if we can get regular access to a lecture theatre or tutorial room there
