Getting started with Lists, Dictionaries and Sets #25

A beginner-level talk that highlights these data structures, basic operations with them, when to use on over the other, brief comparison of insertion/lookup behaviours (big-O), maybe some best practices or common idioms.

I'm interested in doing this, although I'm still fairly new to Python, so I would like it if someone is willing to briefly go over my planned contents and double-check my slides/talk for errors. Any takers? :)

cjrh commented 5 years ago

I'm more than happy to double-check your slides! Can I schedule you for the meetup on 11/09/2019?

jamesdeluk commented 5 years ago

Okay!

Scheduled for 11/09/2019.

I'm really sorry; work has picked up dramatically (including a lot more late nights) and I don't think I'll be able to do this now.

kaiw commented 5 years ago

@jamesdeluk No problem. If you're still interested in doing the talk, we can just reschedule it in the future. Also, I'll echo @cjrh's offer to check your slides or go through the content if/when you need it.
