To prove the authenticity of their auction they posted a number of exploits online. To the surprise of many, these exploits turned out to be genuine.

This presentation will cover some of the history of the Shadow Brokers along with the revelations about the Equation Group, the purported NSA hackers who wrote the exploits the Shadow Brokers dumped. It will also dive into one of the tested exploits, the dreaded extrabacon.
