The purpose of the talk:

To inspire other developers to look at avenues for being their own boss and experiencing the freedom that comes with it. I'll share my journey, tips and tricks, the struggles, the failures, and the what I would do if I did it again.

For the next meetup, we've only 20 minutes for each talk. From those highlight points it sounds like it might be a bit longer than that. Or do you think you could compress it to that timeframe?

Hey @benfreke, I'd definitely be able to compress it to 20, as I wasn't planning on speaking much longer than that anyway, so will see how my preparation goes if the talk is accepted!

If you can fit it into 20 minutes then we'll lock you in for November. Unfortunately I can't make it that night, as it'd be good to chat about recruitment software (I did that for 2 years) but I'll be listening on the live stream :)

Haha I gather you've seen my Careerlane posts on LinkedIn? I'm going to try and come to every meetup from now on pending family and work travels.
