I have used this before and today it wasn't working. It was the first message. I checked format and it's the same as before. #228

Did the issue suddenly begin happening, or is this your first time using Bulk Texter Lite? I have used this before and today it wasn't working. It was the first message. I checked format and it's the same as before.

Describe the bug It can't open the message box with the number. It tries and then I get the error below

Using on Edge, which I see did not automatically update to the newest version. Not sure how to update manually.

Microsoft takes a few days to review changes to extensions. It should be published on the Edge store in the next couple of days, once they complete that process and approve it.

And to clarify, yes, this issue is fixed in v2.1.4, which is currently in review.

Yes, alternatives would include using it on Firefox, which is already up to date: https://github.com/Brismuth-Apps-LLC/bulk-texter-lite#firefox-recommended

Or installing it from the source code on Chrome: https://github.com/Brismuth-Apps-LLC/bulk-texter-lite#chrome-manual-installation-from-source-code

I'll also post back on here as soon as the Microsoft Edge store has accepted the fix.

Thank you. I run a non-profit and I have been searching for something like this for a long time. A number of our members do not have regular email access and texting them helps get them information in a timely manner. Being able to send individual texts to multiple contacts directly from the organization's google voice account has been such a time saver for me (I used to manually do them one at a time) and to be able to individualize them by including the name adds a personal feeling to a digital message. Many "conversations" have started as a result. Thank you again.

Thanks for sharing your experience using it, that's awesome! I'm glad it works well for you.

Bulk Texter Lite is now updated on Microsoft Edge. You can follow these instructions to manually update it:

  1. Go to edge://extensions in Edge.
  2. Toggle on Developer mode on the left, if it's not on already.
  3. Click the "Update" button at the top right of the page.

Awesome, thanks for the update! I have another question. Sometimes, my list contains an international number which I forget to remove prior to starting the bulk text. Is there a way to skip a contact that doesn't work? What happens is that it keeps trying until it errors out. Then I have to figure out where it was up to and start a new bulk text from that point on. Thanks again for a great product.
