User Story

As a developer, I want to ensure that our REST endpoints work consistently with expected results.

Technical Tasks

• Research possible REST endpoint testing libraries like Jest
  • Jest is fine to use if there's no "better" / easier testing libraries
• Note: the chosen REST endpoint testing library MUST HAVE some feature that outputs code coverage

Acceptance Criteria

• Document how to write a endpoint test
• ALL endpoints in the backend have multiple unit tests associated with them
