I found out the same. I'm also hoping someone will update and make it available. Very handy!
FYI, a coworker pointed me to a Chrome version
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/server%20switcher?hl=en-US
And I see the previous posted "issue" from 8 days ago might have some time of solution for FireFos..not sure if for Quantum or not (I have not tested yet myself).
@alaskagit Thanks for the info! Yes, I did find that Chrome version too. I had a quick try using the bookmarklet with Quantum, but didn't work. I have not tested on version before, so I am not sure why it didn't work though.
Thanks @waviaei I tried a little too with the bookmarklet, but wasn't really sure what I was doing. Hopefully someone that is more FireFox savvy than I am will convert/update this.
@waviaei Although it looks new and no reviews yet, one of my coworkers found:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/location-switcher/
or the github for source...
https://github.com/ethanliu/location-switcher-addon
edit. loaded the addon thru FireFox itself, and it seems to be working. After setting up my paths, I did need to close/open firefox to get it to work (then our network had unrelated issues...so testing was minimum at that point, but does look good to me so far).
@alaskagit Woohoo! it worked on my Firefox too. Yes, I needed to close/open the browser too, but it works just like server-switcher was working. Thanks!
Location Switcher https://github.com/ethanliu/location-switcher-addon is good Firefox 57+ replacement for this addon, written as WebExtension.
Updated to Quantum and found out that Server-Switcher is no longer compatible 😞 Do you plan to update it? If not, since it is GPL, do anyone want to folk it and update it?
