Postman crashes game when reading Goombario's letter #18

I just got to Toad Town and talked to the post manager at the post office. I had a letter for Goombario but when I tried to read it the game froze with some debug information: 16630900516481793684014718412163

If it matters I am playing on a real N64 with an Everdrive X7.

Same issue here, did you ever find a fix? Crash on both the mupen64plus core and parallel core on retroarch. I've tried to enable the ignore TLB exception option on mupen64 and it doesn't fix it.

Same error upon opening Goombario's first letter at the post office. PMMQ Jr. 1.5.1.2 on Bizhawk Mupen64Plus core
