bib not indexing #111

akld0001 and 0006 were updated, bib is showing as "not available" or as the id alone . I used the single inscription indexing The xml files look ok, so it's possible that this is an indexing issue.

I also re-indexed beth0153, which showed the same problem, but then started to work.

same for jmon0001-6 which I just re-indexed. the rest of jmon (all new inscriptions) are ok, they were originally indexed all together some weeks ago.

As far as I can tell the first one is a typo--There's an entry in the zotero "IAAR1996a" (Journal is IAA Reports) but the inscription lists IAAP1996a (there's a P rather than an R). The jmon ones are referencing an "IEJ1977c" which seems legitimate but I also can't find in the collection (there's an "a" and a "b" but no "c"). These are both entries added before I set things up but after biblio broke, so I had to mass-import them in a clumsy process. I'm going to keep looking through the collection to make sure these entries weren't missed.

Got it, whoever entered the IEJ one gave it an id of just "1977c" instead of "IEJ1977c", for whatever reason. So I'm assuming these were both data problems, since there aren't any other IEJ articles from 1977.

I'm going to take the liberty of changing the "1977c" entry to "IEJ1977c".

Hi Carlos - the master files are on the dropbox in iip-versioned. actually, I fixed the data errors. unless i'm really confused, if you look at the xml files online, they are correct. --elli

That's done now, the jmon ones look fixed. Anything that referenced "1977c" should still be fine, I just added an additional tag for "IEJ1977c".

crotger commented 9 years ago

Interesting. I'm going to check the solr logs.

crotger commented 9 years ago

So when I looked at the solr index, it was saying it had uncommitted changes and deleted items, so I told it to commit, but nothing looks any different.

I sent off another reprocess on akld0001 but it's been about 15 minutes and the index is not showing any change--not even an uncommitted one.

I'll keep waiting for it but something is up here.

emylonas commented 9 years ago

I'm going to wait for the 1pm indexing pass that is automatic and see what happens. I also redid everything that should have fixed the gaps a few weeks ago, and I'm not sure it had an effect.

just committed IEJ1977c jmon bib ids. should index at 1.

I reindexed using "single inscription" for the akld0001 and 0006 files and they are fine now. They had been corrected, but not picked up on indexing when switchover happened? - didn't show up as new/changed.

all set now, jmon0001-6 as well
