PS I just tried it in Chrome and didn't have the problem - and it happened first time in Safari. But that's just 2 datapoints. I'll ask about what browsers people use. You can test by making a new annotation and not saving it btw. They are hard to delete, need to have Ben Cail doing it.

This is an issue I've seen with another project as well. Not sure why it happens.
